Why we don’t hear about Ukraine anymore?

My co-workers and I were discussing local current events on our when Ms. Lathan points out, “Have you noticed you don’t hear about Ukraine anymore?” Local news moves on to next big thing in a hot minute. Right now, it’s the 4th of July shootings. Another disturbed youth has shot up a group of innocent people but there was no were mention of the atrocities of 100 men being castrated, raped and returned to their homeland in Ukraine.

Russian forces continue to do rocket strikes on the city and people live in fear. Their economy has been impacted by the war and financial aid is excepted to help eventually from Western countries. However, this will not excuse the behavior of the Russians and how they treated the captured Ukrainian fighters. Clearly, they took their lessons from Satan. Recently, Russia and Ukraine made some sort of an agreement to hand over 100 fighters in exchange for 100 of their own. According to our friend, who has a friend, who knows a medic/doctor in Ukraine, when those Ukrainian fighters arrived home, they were completely striped of their dignity.

When the Ukrainian fighters were being held as hostages in Russia, they were (allegedly) repeatedly raped, tortured and castrated. They were retuned to their homeland malnourished and likely many will not make it. Ask yourself would you want to live in a world like this?

How can you help? You can donate to the Ukrainian Blood Cross or below. I know it’s too late to help those fighters but maybe we can help their families.
